Thanks for a wonderful time!

If you made it out to the Gala you know what great food was enjoyed, what fantastic music we were treated to and how many friends you saw.  Maybe you even danced a little Texas Two-Step!

ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY MAY 29th

Early voting May 14 - 25

Hello, Harris County!

My name is Phil Sandlin and I am your Constable for Harris County Precinct 8.  I am a 20 year veteran of this Office and I was unanimously appointed to the position of Constable by Harris County Commissioner’s Court on June 1, 2011 to fill the unexpired term of outgoing Constable Bill Bailey upon his retirement. Constable Bailey held the office for over 28 years and I am honored to have his faith and support to continue leading this agency forward.

Precinct 8 is known throughout the state as a well managed and professional law enforcement agency. Our department has a reputation of quality work within the community and we have always strived to have good working relationships with the many different law enforcement agencies within our precinct as well as with all surrounding jurisdictions. It is my goal to build on those relationships and continue providing the quality service that people have come to expect from our department.

With me as your Constable, the citizens of this Precinct will continue to receive:

• High visibility and proactive patrols in your neighborhood

• Quick response times to your calls for service

• Focused attention on public safety issues
(DWI and drug interdiction, underage drinking prevention,
targeting of high crime areas, community policing, etc.)
• Outstanding Civil and Criminal Warrant Service
• Qualified, professional and reliable staff

• A Constable with proven leadership experience
• Ongoing partnerships with other area law enforcement agencies
• Trusted and reliable results from your Constable’s Office
• Conservative and fiscally responsible leadership

• A Constable who will listen to you and respond to your needs

I would be honored to have your vote on Election Day, which will be held Tuesday, May 29th. I do not take my oath of office lightly and I pledge to continue working hard every day to continue earning your trust.
